A cultural bridge from the Island to the world: Pinera Festival 2017.

With the motto "A cultural bridge from the Island to the world", the Pineras Festival of 2017 will be held on March 11 and 12 in its children's version, as well as on 17, 18 and 19 of that same month for the general public.
As customary, this year's Pinera Festival should be distinguished by their high cultural content, their participative character, and the preservation of the values of our Traditional Popular Culture.
The Pinera Festival will also be characterized by their high sense of identity with the traditional event, this time at nine o'clock on Monday, March 13th, in front of the headquarters of the old Telegraph of Nueva Gerona to celebrate the 92 years of ratification by The United States Senate of the Hay - Quesada Treaty that recognized us geographically, historically and culturally as Cubans.
Work teams are already active to guarantee the completion of the Pinera Festival this year, so that other information about them will be made available through the media of the Pinero territory as well as the digital site of the Municipal Direction of Culture.
